Another place stumbled upon while visiting Hanoi.
Was hesitant initially because there didn t seem to be any other asian places near by - so I didn t know if the food good or not. Decided to try because of (1) How packed it was (2) How beautifully decorated it was - and yay glad I did.
The plating are very beautiful, portion size is great to share, thai food is much more on the sweeter side, but good. If you dont like sweet thai food, this might not be your place
Thai Tea was not too sweet and good ratio of cream and tea. Was perfect.
Ordered: (everything was soooo good so I recommend it all)
- Iberico pork moo-ping (189000 VND): the most tender, juicy and flavorful bite I ve ever had in my life. Come with grilled coconut toast that is perfect to start the meal!
- Massaman beef curry (215000 VND): pretty standard massaman, succulent beef shank.
- Deep-fry tofu with tamarind sauce (55000 VND): Cripsy outside, soft inside for my tofu.
The price is also reasonable: 574000 VND ~ 24.73USD for 3 dishes plus 2 thai milk tea and 1 steamed rice for 2 people. YAYYYYY!
Beautifully decoration, fast and friendly service. The tables are close together but I don t mind, I didn t feel cramped or anything but can see how others would feel that way.
Glad I stopped by, because I love Thai food and was in Hanoi for a while - it hit the spot!

Nice cozy place with good food. We had the squid balls, drunken noodles and red curry with shrimps. The curry was very tasty and spicy, but the shrimps were Not deveined. Personally that is unappealing to me. The Mamas Noodle cocktail was quite unique and tasty but very hot (red chili’s). Definitely worth a try if you like hot chili’s and lemongrass.
