Backstage là một trong những nhà hàng fine-dining được Michelin đề xuất, nằm trong khách sạn Capella Hanoi trên phố Lê Phụng Hiểu ngay giữa lòng thủ đô.
Backstage là nơi giao thoa giữa kiến trúc phương Tây và tinh hoa ẩm thực Hà Thành. Ghé thăm Backstage, bạn sẽ choáng ngợp với sự hào nhoáng của bối cảnh sân khấu opera trưng bày những bộ trang phục lộng lẫy nhưng không làm mất đi vị tinh tế của các món ăn miền Bắc Việt Nam. Đặc biệt là món phở được chế biến chuẩn xác theo công thức truyền thống với nguyên liệu tươi ngon, phở có vị thanh, “chuẩn vị” Hà thành. Ngoài ra ở đây cũng có phục vụ cả các món Âu như bít tết.

As a person first time in hanoi, I walked by the hotel and decided to have lunch at backstage restaurant as its a vietnamese restaurant. And I definitely be amazed by the designs, decorations of it. Most importantly was the food here was so good and delicious, Ive met Mr. Van Nguyen who was the server for me and he was so friendly, nice and have a great knowledge about the hotel product and the local culture and i had a really nice time there. Will be back here in the future.

I’m a sucker for designer decor and wanted to lunch at Backstage to check out the highly rated Capella Hotel.
Perhaps a bit erroneously named, the opulent and glitzy interior of the restaurant qualifies it to be centrestage. It was a feast for the eyes!
We were the only patrons for lunch on a Saturday and the staff danced attention on us so they get full marks for impeccable service.
Food was a bit of a hit and miss. The bread basket was outstanding. No complaints about the food in general. Plating was nice. My heritage duck rolls and fish dish were a bit pedestrian. A bit more dramatic flair is required to elevate the culinary standard to match the drama of the decor.
Perhaps the high prices were the cause of the poor patronage but coming from Singapore, lunch at a fancy restaurant priced at US$40-50 per head was still acceptable to us.
I may not dine there again but would recommend it for a one time experience to soak in the ambience, only if you like maximalist dr or style.
