We had a few weird experiences at this hotel that made it unsatisfactory.
1) When I tried to pick up the hotel key card, the person at the front desk tried to convince me that she had given the key to my partner, when my partner had not even talked to the person at the front desk.
2) At 5am on our first night at the hotel, there was a fault in the fire alarm and instead of investigating the issue and realising that it was a false alarm before notifying the guests, they broadcasted an announcement over the loudspeaker system waking everyone up and making everyone go out of the hotel, only to tell us as soo as we got down that it was a false alarm (which they could have broadcasted over the speakers seeing that they already woke everyone up).
3) At breakfast I had to ask for our coffees 3 times and despite this they were still not served.
4) The free shuttle bus service advertised with the room key only runs once every 2 hours and every time we wanted to use it, the minibus (which only holds 7 people when the hotel has hundreds of guests) was always full, which meant we couldn’t go to the city without paying for a taxi or waiting for the next bus.
5) The tea supplies in the room were rather odd, we had the diverse selection of 2 packets of “decaffinated black tea”, when there were other types of tea displayed at breakfast and other meals.
6) The shower has only 2 settings - scorching hot or stone cold. And when you try to adjust it to be a little bit colder, it stays at scorching hot, and adjusting it by another millimetre turns it to stone cold.

In summary, a combination of little things as mentioned above in addition to incompetent and sometimes rude staff detracted from our experience.

Furthermore the location is not ideal for eating/shopping in nha trang centre unless you are prepared to wait for the specific times of the shuttle bus (every 2-3 hours from 9am-4pm)

Some of the positives (which you expect from a 5 star hotel) included free breakfast, free shuttle bus (when it wasn’t full), free buggy to the beach, nice pool, free Xmas high tea and show.

Overall we would not recommend this hotel, we had a much better experience at our previous 3 star hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
