This restaurant is a couple of notches up from the average fare in Hoi An. One side faces the river with tables on the actual riverside, and the other side faces onto a walking street and includes the bubbles bar , an elegant champagne bar. The open kitchen immediately differentiates the Mango Rooms from most restaurants you ll find in the old part of Hoi An, and the overall decor is a stylish mix of indoor/outdoor.
What attracted us (me foodie, him professional chef) was the menu, which while notably Vietnamese, included ingredients like romesco, chimmichurri etc. It turns out that chef Duc has cooked all over the world and has brought these influences home to blend with the fresh local ingredients to create a delightful fusion menu.
We went for small plates in order to try the maximum number of dishes, and everything was a wonderfully balance of flavours and textures, beautifully presented. We will be back, but not before trying his other restaurants in town!
A special mention must be made for the service which was very attentive and professional. A real pleasure. Highly recommend.

Great food
We had the a great night siting on the outside tables, the food was nice and fresh
We had the ceviche tuna that was amazing, and the crispy rolls also so good
And a duck salad that was nice
